Hi-hops chrome extension for youtube.com collects minimal information:
Usage Data: Number of daily extractions (stored locally in your browser)
Payment Data: When you upgrade to Premium, we store your email and encrypted password for verification, your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status
No Browsing History: We do NOT track which videos you watch
No Personal Data: We do NOT collect your personal information, but we save your email and name for payment reference.
2. How We Use Information
The information we collect is used to:
Enforce the 7 extractions per day limit for free users
Verify your Premium subscription status
Data Accessed:After successful Google/Youtube OAuth authentication, our application reads your youtube/google email address
Data Usage:After successful Google/Youtube OAuth autnetication, the retreived email address will be saved and will be used as a reference for payment infomration if any.
Authentication: To securely log you into your Hi-hops account.
Functionality: To save your preferences and ensure your "try-on" history is accessible only to you.
Communication: To provide essential updates regarding your account or security.

3.1 Data Storage
Local Storage: Your user ID and usage count are stored in your browser's local storage
Our Servers: We only store your subscription status (if Premium) referenced with your email in our database
Stripe: User email address is used as in the payment information which is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI compliant)
3.2 Data Protection
We do not collect or store your password, contacts, browsing history, or any other personal files.
We do sell, share or disclose any of user information or behvioural use of the chrome extension.

Cancel subscription: Cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account settings
6. Data Retention
Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active
Deleted accounts: Data permanently deleted within 30 days of deletion request
Cancelled subscriptions: Payment records retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes)
